What Is Signal Loss?

Signal loss occurs when one or more of the TireMinder transmitters and the monitor have separated or lost connection with each other. The TireMinder monitor will show no5 or n5 on the screen when this happens.

Reasons For Signal Loss

Signal loss can happen due to the following situations:

  • Antenna not extended (TireMinder TM66 and A1A only)
  • Electronic interference
  • Weak or dying batteries
  • Signal booster no longer functioning or receiving power

Disconnect Mode

Disconnect Mode is a built-in feature allowing you to "disconnect" from the system when you no longer need to monitor any transmitters. Taking advantage of Disconnect Mode will help ensure that you don't receive signal loss alerts after separating from your transmitters.

The following TireMinder TPMS models feature Disconnect Mode:

  • TM66
  • A1A
  • TM77
  • TM88C
  • i10
  • A1AS
  • Smart TPMS
