Why It Isn't Recommended To Use Flow-Through Transmitters On Tow Vehicle, Trailer Tires, And Rubber Valve Stems

TireMinder transmitters can be used on both rubber and metal valve stems, however we do not recommend using flow-through transmitters on tow vehicles and rubber valve stems.

This is a TireMinder Standard Transmitter on a light truck with rubber valve stems.

Here is a TireMinder Flow-Through Transmitter on the same light truck.

The TireMinder Flow-Through Transmitter is 1.89" (48 mm) long, meaning it will stick out further than the Standard Transmitter, which can subject it to breakage or damage should you ever get too close to a curb or other hazardous items like road debris while traveling.
