Equal can safely be used as a tire balancer with the TireMinder TPMS. Please note, in order for the product to properly work with the sensors, the installer should replace the valve core of each tire that it is being put in. We also recommend to only check the tire with a tire gauge when the valve stem is near the top of the rotation, as Equal will cause the air to leak from the tire if the valve stem is near the bottom.
If you would like to avoid these issues, we recommend having the tire balanced by machine. Remember, your tires do not need to be rebalanced upon adding our TireMinder transmitter.
