Initial Setup
- Remove battery cover and insert 2 “AAA” batteries. Once the batteries are inserted, you have 3 minutes to complete steps 2 and 3. Don’t worry if you run out of time. It’s easy to start over!
- Remove back cover of the remote transmitter.
- Confirm the remote sensor is set to channel 1, then install 2 “AA” batteries into each transmitter.
- Once the batteries are inserted into the remote transmitter, the red light will turn on. Once the red light disappears, the temperature reading of that transmitter will be displayed on the monitor.
- Use the ▼ button to toggle between your desired unit of temperature (°F or °C).
Adding Additional Transmitters
- Remove the back cover of the remote transmitter and set the channel to channel 2 if this is the 2nd remote transmitter or channel 3 if this is the 3rd remote transmitter. Note, this thermometer has a max of 3 remote transmitters.
- On the thermometer, use the ▲ button to navigate to the corresponding channel you would like to add. This is displayed by the CH1, CH2, and CH3 at the top right of the display.
- Once at the corresponding position, press and hold the ▲ button for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, you will see a wireless icon displayed next to the channel.
- Insert 2 “AA” batteries into the remote transmitter. Once the batteries are inserted into the remote transmitter, the red light will turn on. Once the red light disappears, the temperature reading of that transmitter will be displayed on the monitor.
- If adding an additional remote transmitter, repeat steps 1 to 4 for the additional remote transmitter.
Setting Time
- Press and hold the SET button on the rear of the monitor. After 5 seconds, the hour will be blinking.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select the current hour.
- Once the hour is set, press and release the SET button again. The minutes will now be blinking.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the current minutes.
- Once the minutes are set, press and release the SET The time has now been set.
- To toggle between 12 hour and 24 hour time, press and release the SET
Display MAX/MIN Temperature
- Press and release the MEM button to display the maximum temperature. Note the MAX on the display.
- Press and release the MEM button again to display the minimum temperature. Note the MIN is display.
- Press and release the MEM button to display the current. Note that neither MAX nor MIN are displayed.
Clear MIN/MAX Temperature
Press and hold the MEM button for 6 seconds to clear the MAX/MIN temperature readings.
Replacing Transmitter Batteries / Receive New Readings
If you have replaced the batteries on a remote transmitter, or would like to receive updated readings, navigate to the channel by pressing and releasing the ▲ button. Once at the channel you would like to refresh, press and hold the ▲ button for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, you will see “---”. Regaining new readings can take up to 5 minutes.
